- Temporary comfort
- Potential efficiency*
POTENTIAL NEGATIVES:
- Guilt
- Trust loss
- Energy/time cost from the sacrifice
- Harder because we don't read minds
- Decreased respect
- Resentment
*There may be efficiency in using less words. However, the shallow nature of this type of communication undercuts efficiency in the long term because underlying issues are ignored. |
